Background

The Chesapeake Alternatives team, comprised of successful business and community leaders but lacking any cannabis industry experience,
made a late-stage decision to pursue licensure in Maryland’s medical cannabis program.

The client had an aggressive timeline and across-the-board needs: application management, operational bona fides and IP (in both processing and dispensary domains), financial projections supporting capital-raise efforts, and general industry perspective and guidance.

The Project
